What Finishes We Can Do
1. Sanding
Sanding is a process of smoothing the surface to smooth the edges, burrs and machining mark by abrasion with sandpaper. This process will make the parts surface smooth and get rid of the burrs.
2. Anodizing
Anodizing is the electrochemical oxidation of metals or alloys. Aluminum and its alloys form a layer of oxide film on aluminum products (anode) under the action of external current under corresponding electrolyte and specific process conditions. Anodizing, if not specified, usually refers to sulfuric acid anodizing, type ii anodizing. In order to overcome the aluminum defects of surface and wear resistance and increase the aluminum parts strength, anodizing is most widely used and successful.
3. Bead Blasting
We also call it sand blasting or shot blasting. It is a process of cleaning and roughening the parts surface by using the impact of high-speed sand flow. The compressed air is used as the power to form a high-speed jet beam to blast he sand materials (copper ore, quartz sand, emery, iron sand and Hainan sand) to the workpiece, so as to change the appearance or shape of the outer surface of the workpiece surface.
The parts surface can have different roughness with the different impact and sands. Also with the bead blasting, the fatigue resistance of the workpiece is improved, the adhesion between it and the coating is increased, the durability of the coating film is prolonged and also the surface looks good.
4. Painting
We can sand smooth the parts and do primer and painting the parts in specified colors and texture and different sheens. We normally use RAL and pantone color system. In the same part, we can paint it in different colors and sheens by masking the surfaces.
5. Engraving
Laser engraving is based on numerical control technology and laser is the processing medium. The instantaneous melting and gasification of processing materials under the irradiation of laser engraving can make laser engraving achieve the purpose of processing. Laser engraving is to use laser technology to engrave words on objects. The words engraved by this technology have no marks, the surface of the object is still smooth, and the handwriting will not be worn.
6. Printing
Printing is a process of using a master form or template to produce the text, images and logos on the parts. We can do silk screening or pad printing on the parts with flat surface or curing surface and the colors can be fifferent.
7. Powder Coating
Dusting refers to a coating process that makes powder coatings adhered to workpieces by corona discharge. After powder spraying, it was successfully hot coated. After powder coating, the parts surface will become hard and corrosion resistance. Aluminum and magnesium parts are usually powder coated to form a protective surface.
8. UV Coating
A UV coating (or more generally a radiation cured coating) is a surface treatment. Under the ultraviolet radiation emitted by the UV LED lamp, the varnish forms a layer of varnish on the surface of the parts, which is used for waterproof, scratch proof and forming a high gloss surface.
9. Passivation
Passivation refers to the process of passivation in which the metal is oxidized by strong oxidant or electrochemical method to make the surface inactive. It is a method to change the metal surface into a state that is not easy to be oxidized and delay the corrosion rate of the metal.
10. Plating
Electroplating is a process of plating a thin layer of other metals or alloys on some metal surfaces by using the principle of electrolysis. It is a process of using electrolysis to attach a metal film to the surface of metal or other material parts, so as to prevent metal oxidation (such as rust), improve wear resistance, conductivity, reflection, corrosion resistance (copper sulfate, etc.) and enhance beauty.
